If you're looking for a smaller campus experience, this is a great campus to check out! Average class sizes are smaller and you get the chance to know your professors on a more personal level. UWGB isn't located right in the middle of the city, so you can also enjoy the peacefulness that encompasses the campus.

College life on campus is really laid back so you have to make the most it yourself. If you stay in your dorm or at home all the time, you won't enjoy it at all. Every night has something different going on but you must take the effort to get yourself there otherwise you won't enjoy it at all.

Make sure to get involved and join one of the 150+ organizations located on campus, or simply start your own. This will lead to the success of your college career here!

I would say you should attend all the events you can, there are so many in the first week. It's not only a good way to get involved but it keeps you busy if you feel homesick. This year for the orientation they had a scavenger hunt where we got a bunch of free stuff like a jump drive, water bottle, and coffee mug! Another thing I would suggest is enrolling in a first year seminar course. These professors not only teach interesting coursework, but get you familiar with the campus and are a great person to talk to if you have any questions. This is also another great way to meet new people.
