I've been told that there are a lot of things to do in La Crosse. You can hike on the bluffs, bike, walk, shop around town, along with other outdoor activities.

The office of student life is always creating innovative ways of keeping the students occupied and enjoying life. There's something scheduled every weekend. The nightlife downtown is incredible as well. There won't be a dull moment unless you let it.

La Cross is surrounded by tons of things to do in every season. Climbing the bluffs and enjoying walks downtown are some of my favorite things to do. The rec here on campus is also my favorite place to be whether it be during my morning workout or at night playing a pick up game of basketball.

The bluffs are right next to campus which is awesome. Our campus IDs work as bus passes so you can go downtown or to Onalaska, which is very close. It is a very active campus so you can always find sand volleyball or soccer games to jump in to. The campus has plenty of activities and speakers on campus to go to. Just recently I went to a very entertaining presentation that was literally about female orgasms. Also, the mad hatters (a male accapella group) performed on campus and that was such a fun activity to do with friends.

There is a lot of different options! Some favorites are hiking the bluffs, exploring the city, movie nights with friends, going for runs, etc. During the winter, the halls put on fun little events for the students like craft nights, game night, and even informational events.

There is an abounding amount of activities for students to partake in, on and off campus ranging from greek life, clubs and organizations, to intramural sports. Sand volleyball courts are located all over campus and are a blast when you get tournaments going. Onalaska has a great mall where you can do some retail therapy and the adorable downtown La Crosse has amazing night life and one of the most beautiful parks along the Mississippi River.

There are many opportunities available in order to have fun! People can go on bluff hikes, go canoeing, rent bikes, go rock climbing, etc. There are also many opportunities to join groups and organizations on campus that allow you to connect with others and get involved with activities that you are interested in. Some of these groups include sports through intramurals/clubs, volunteering opportunities, and joining many other things. There are also fun activities going on in certain dorms during days of the week, such as dances, runs, movie nights, harry potter parties, and friendship bracelet making.

There are many clubs and organizations to join such as CRU (a church group), Bio Clubs, Mathematics Clubs, FYRE (a research group), Sororities, Dance Teams, Sports Teams, etc. The Recreation Center (REC) is always open for sports and other athletics. Kick boxing and aerobics class is offered. My favorite is zumba! Aside from those, there are many opportunities to volunteer at 5k runs and other events. Campus is full of events and it is a great way to be involved and meet new people.
