Around Town

There are so many activities to do on campus sometimes you will not have enough time during the semester to do everything you want. Whether it is concerts on campus, or a sports event the school is always doing its best to make sure you as the student enjoy your whole experience during college. Look online or at main campus buildings for fliers that will advertise everything that is going on campus that week or for the upcoming weeks.

Go to the Lake Michigan!

There are parties and bars on campus.

There are great places to meet friends, such as coffee shops and parks by Lake Michigan. The night life bar scene is a lot of fun as well as house parties.

I love attending the universities events and walking with friends.

Get involved in clubs/groups. For example I am on the Equestrian Team and get to travel and compete at horse shows! Go to movies in the Union Theatre for free. Go to art gallery openings around Milwaukee. Art museum. Bradford Beach. Join a volleyball league at a bar. Going to bars is mostly what people do (hello, Wisconsin.)

Tons! Downtown Milwaukee is full of restaurants, clubs, taverns, museums, and parks. UWM has plenty of on campus events as well.

There are always activities on campus. UWM has a awesome activity room where you can go play billiard and bowling. There is a bar and coffee shops. You can go to many presentations and concerts that occur on campus. The campus is located on the east side, which is right by the lake. In the summer time it's perfect to go to the beach. Milwaukee has tons of restaurants, clubs, shops that you can go to and it is all near the campus.

There is always things to do, you just have to get involved and be social!

What isn't there to do for fun! It's perfect because this school is on the good side of Milwaukee and 5 minutes from Lake Michigan, 10 minutes from downtown, and the school's campus has it's own little college town feel. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, cool unique shops, and plenty of things to do on the lake and in the city. It really is such a diverse place with things to do for everyone.
