there are several things to do for fun. there is a gym that you can use for basketball, volleyball, track running and weight lifting. if that isn't what you define as fun, students are extremely social and nice, so you can run around meeting all kinds of people from the Americans, to the Arabs, to the Chinese.

Nothing really. Milwaukee is such a boring city from fall to spring. So goodluck staying in your dorm because it sucks. Most of the teaches don't really help you and want you to fail to weed people out since there are a lot of people taking this major. IF YOU ARE AN OUT OF STATE STUDENT STAY AWAY

Plenty of things to do at UW-Milwaukee. From Flicks in the dorm buildings to all the many other activities that they plan, there is never a dull moment at campus. Even off campus there is plenty of things to do in the bustling city of Milwaukee; plenty of restaurants, malls, parks and of course the gorgeous Bradford Beach.

UW-M is close to Milwaukee's lakefront, which hosts art and music festivals. Many people sunbathe or play volleyball at Bradford Beach on the lakefront, while others jog, rollerblade, bike, or ride paddle boats. Milwaukee has the Art Museum, Public Museum, comedy clubs, Performing Arts Center, Repertory Theater, shopping malls, movie theaters, and many beautiful public parks.

There are many activities to do on campus. There always seems to be something going on. There is also a recreational center in the basement of the union that has a couple table tennis tables, about 30 pool tables, a bowling alley, and a few Xboxs and PlayStations. There are also sporting events that you can attend or intramural sports. There is also a pool, indoor track, and two large work out rooms in the Klotsche Center/Pavilion. We are also a short bus ride to downtown Milwaukee.

When it comes to free-time, it would be hard not to find something to do somewhere on (or off) campus. UWM has multiple Division I sports teams, so there is almost always a game that you can attend. Also there is the student recreation center on campus that offers bowling, billiards, and ping-pong, just to name a few. If sports aren't really your thing, there is the Gasthaus, which is the on-campus pub and has amazing food. UWM also has a movie theater called Flicks that plays movies every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Every dorm has usually got some sort of event going on, whether big or small, about once a week. If all else fails, the city of Milwaukee has so much to offer when it comes to entertainment, from movies and plays, to sporting and concerts, and everything in between.
