    Get out snd join clubs, make friends and look for internships. Perspective jobs are looking more for experience and not just GPA.

    When you come to college there is a lot of change obviously. The biggest thing is to make sure you are self-motivated because your professors won't usually remind about assignments so it's easy to fall behind quickly and forget about assignments. Also make sure to get most of your generally education classes out of the way ASAP because it'll allow you to take more classes focused on your major in later semesters. Those classes will also teach you basic skills that'll come in handy in harder classes.
