The campus is great and the town is fantastic, but it's hard to make friends since most people there already know people.

When I was in high school, everyone always said that Laramie and the University of Wyoming were boring. However, I find the exact opposite to be true. Laramie is a very welcoming community and the university goes out of its way to make sure there are a plethora of activities for students on campus. I'm really enjoying Laramie and I'm so glad I decided to go to the University of Wyoming. It's a wonderful place to be.

Now the reason that being here is 3 stars is because it is hard to sometimes find things to do. Of course there is the bowling alley and the different events that UW offers. The pros of the university is its different events like football, the different clubs, intramural sports, and having various artists or performers at the college. There are also various outdoor activities to do here like shooting, fishing, or snowboarding/skiing. My first year here I went to see Lewis Black and a College Humor performance. The downside to that is when you aren't in an event/club and you have no homework, it is hard to find something to do. Most of the people here either play videogames, watch movies, or more productively find a job that usually interferes with school. Besides the job market being small here, few managers know what its like to be in college and some that don't that put students into hard situations.
