UW has one of the lowest tuition rates, especially for students from Wyoming itself. However, this does not mean that our academics are any less appealing. I really enjoy UW and what frustrates me most is when people say that they are only going here because it is 'cheap'. So if you do not want to go to Laramie and are thinking of only coming here because it is cheap, please don't. Go some place you are going to love and be happy. I am very happy here in Laramie, and it dissapoints me when I see people who are not.

It is one of the cheaper actual Universities in the country but is ranked pretty high. We may be paying a lot, but we get teachers that take time to talk to us on an individual level.
