“I don't dorm, but I stayed overnight once for orientation, and let's just say the rooms look like tiny jail cells, haha. However, I stayed at the lower ranked dormitory;…”
“Dorm life is on the rise, dorms are limited due to it being a small campus but the activites commity does try their best to make events that are fun…”
“Excellent for nerds!…”
“The most popular freshman dorm, Goodman Hall, is squalid and pathetic. It is nothing more than a concrete jail. The rooms do not come with lights, the facilities are ghetto…”
“Goodman Hall is disgusting. The cleaning crew doesn't do their job well and students are even worse. They can't clean up after themselves.…”
The food offered at Wilson dining hall is not the best, but it is good enough to get by on a day to day basis.
» Read MoreThe food and dining at University of the Sciences is actually descent for college food. There are many different selections at each meal, in which most of these selections are quite healthy.
» Read MoreThe food is poor in nutrition and taste.
» Read MoreThe food is a bit expensive, but the dining hall looks fancy. Since I commute, I usually bring my own food or buy food from the food carts on campus.
» Read MoreMost people are usually not fond of the food here.
» Read MoreThe on-campus food served by the school's company is not great at all. It's made very odd and cooked poorly, the taste lingers and overall you may get sick for the first 2 weeks. Get used to eating potatoes and eggs because that's some of the most common foods they have. Other than that there are some restaurants and food carts nearby that are relatively good if you want something different.
» Read MorePersonally feel the food is not the best and there could be a better variety, but the food can get you through the year. The cleanliness is questionable though because there was a roach spotted in the dining area, but keep in mind it is still a public building in a city.
» Read MoreFood is good.
» Read MoreThe food is overpriced and not nothing ever tastes good. There aren't many options.
» Read MoreThe opposite of the culinary arts. This is the quality of food that you would expect at a geriatric ward where the patrons are mistreated. Nothing is every cook correctly. You have chicken wings that still have the feathers, well done beef that is covered in blood, and clearly GMO fruit. The only drinks that are offered at dinner at fountain sodas and filtered tap water from said fountain drink machine. Again the servers are mean and ghetto. The do not offer proper customer service and usually have on an evil frown. Typical encounter at the sandwich station: Hi, can I have a turkey and cheese and wheat bread, please? We ain't got 'dat! Oh...well may I have genoa salami and cheese? We ain't got dat too! From the force and disarming body language you can't endure anymore at this point and you walk away. I was slightly happy though, being a vegetarian, because they do have fresh salad most of the time. Besides that the only things they have that are meant for vegetarians are frozen veggie burgers.
» Read MoreAs i said before, the greek life is very active in the Usciences experience.
» Read MoreGreek life at University of the Sciences is very different. There are professional, community service, and social fraternities and sororities. Although the greek life is somewhat on the smaller side, the majority of students are involved in the greek life.
» Read MorePlenty!
» Read MoreGreek Life... from an ungreek perspective, only known for parties?
» Read MoreGreek Life is very active and present, but the main Greek Life is not present. Do not come to the school specifically for a typical Greek Life because chances are we will not have the chapter. But that doesn't mean you have to discourage the ones that are here.
» Read MoreWell everyone wants to get wasted after a test and without the greeks the thought of what the school would be gives even me the chills. They're legit. Some are sillier than others *cough cough* AST, but still they get the job done. There are not many though. I feel sorry for the very few blacks on campus bc there is no true outlet for them. Basically the sororities consist of a hot one, a slutty one, an artsy one, and one that doesn't try hard lol The frats consist of a nerd one, a weird hipster one, dbag one, pharmacy dbag one, oh and indian ones...lol There is one gangster asian one...
» Read MoreThere is a club or activity for almost everyone! Black Student Union, Islam, etc! The only thing this school lacks is historically black fraternities and sororites! There are NO D9 frats or sororities on campus and we are not included in any city wide chapters near by. However students are working towards being included nad great strides have been made for the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority and the Deltas
» Read MoreI am not apart of Greek life, however there are many fraternities and sororities on USciences. There are social, academic, and professional greek organizations that can fit into a student needs. One thing I do notice is every Thursday in the main dining hall there is Greek lunch, where all the Greeks enjoy lunch together.
» Read MoreMany people are involved in the Greek Life and there a period of time when many activities are going on for this. When people are accepted into their groups its very energetic and exciting for those that join.
