    Apply for as many scholarships as you can to make Valpo more affordable. Visit the campus on a tour, and if you have the time, attend the over-night visit. Valparaiso is a wonderful school, but be sure to get a feel for it and see if it's right for you before you make your decision.

    As a prospective student, you should be very open minded to what Valpo has to offer and don't be scared to push yourself out of your comfort zone. When I did that, I only broadened my horizons and experienced many new things.
