» Read MoreVanderbilt is difficult to get into, but admissions loves students who have a passion. They like to see that prospective students are involved in things that they are truly interested in, and that they know what they want in life. Let your personality and drive come through in your application, and especially in your essay. Do not try to be something that you are not, because the admissions counselors can tell - just be yourself, and they will like you more for it.
