    It would be best to dorm here at least for the first year because it is easier to make more friends and there are many activities and events planned for those dorming here. However, for commuters there are a lot of events as well.

    If you're looking to going to Vanguard, you should know that the classes are small and the teachers will get to know who you are as a person, so be comfortable with small classes. You should have an open mind about religion because it is required to go to chapels.
