Many students come in, misguided that they will be able to pursue a degree in aerospace engineering: absolutely not true. Most engineering degrees here are technology degrees with the exception of one degree program called mechatronics engineering (mechanical + electrical) it has a focus on robotics type stuff. Other than the misguided aerospace students, it is a pretty good small school. They try and accommodate all the students by having lots of on campus events such as party type things and social events that always have food. Off campus events include skiing trips and tickets to the baseball games and basketball games in the area (mets, yankees. nets and knicks). All in all they try to make campus as fun as they can even if they may fail a little bit. Either way manhattan isn't that far away. Challenge yourself and have fun.
