Around Town

There are two trains that stop on the Villanova Campus. Show some school spirit and attend sports games. The King of Prussia mall is very close (you can take a train and the school shuttles to the mall for free on the weekends). Take a train into Philadelphia or Ardmore. Local bars. Lots of activities that are on campus. Watch the VU movie channel.

Join clubs and organizations. Go to sporting events, especially basketball! Good bar scene (if legal) & house parties.

Do not believe the 'Villanofun' nickname, there are always lots of parties on the weekend. Also, there are always university sponsored events to attend, like hypnotists and the like.

Villanova is situated a short distance away from Philadelphia, and with a train station on campus, it is easy to get into the city and explore the culture and history there. There are also free shuttles to the King of Prussia Mall, one of the biggest malls in the country, as well as other shops and restaurants close by. Campus Activities Team puts on other special events such as shows and movies, games, and more fun things.

Beside a plethora of on campus activities and clubs, the two railways running through campus provide easy and cheap transportation to Philadelphia, a lively city with a rich culture, historical background, and nightlife. The school also provides shuttles to the King of Prussia mall, one of the largest malls in the nation. Within walking and biking distance or an even shorter bus ride is Bryn Mawr and Wayne each with good restaurants, shops, cinemas, and other activities to explore.

There is always a party somewhere whether its on campus, in philly or at off campus places. If your not a big party-er, you can just go to the movies on campus or off and/ or hang out with friends. Whoever said Villa-no-fun

I am a very boring person and don't go out very much. But there are parties if you're into that. There is also the Campus Activities Team which plans events and stuff to do on campus. There is also Philadelphia that's a train ride away plus a lot of shopping opportunities. Joining a club will also help you do more because a lot of clubs and sports plan group outings and activities.

The school has a lot of activities and clubs. Plus it's in Philadelphia and 10 min away from UPenn.
