Around Town

For fun there are numerous shops and bars located throughout the area. There is swimming, bowling, and church orientated activities.

There is not much to do here, but there are movie nights a lot in the Humanities building, and if you are into community service and volunteering there is plenty, but if you are looking to party, well, there are none here. There is, however, a movie theater not too far from campus, and for those who fish, the river is literally in your backyard.

There are plenty of extracurricular activities.

VU has a brand new Natatorium and Gym areas with indoor and outdoor walking/running tracks. We have our own bowling center, offer movie nights, attractions, as well as the Red Skelton Center. We host a myriad of multi-cultural events during the year, and is a little more than an hours drive to Evansville.

There is plenty of things to get involved in at VU. I spend most of my free time with others in my major and working out.

Not a lot to do around here, but enough to stay satisfied on a weekend. They have a movie theater and a pretty nice downtown with some shops.

Nothing is really around because there is no mall, movie theater has no good movies...

The tennis and volleyball courts tend to be the main attraction in the warmer months. Join in on any game and meet new people.

You are only 4 blocks from downtown where there are several shops. The Memorial building and bridge is in the heart of the city. They offer a bus to walmart weekly and Van go is available as well.
