Around Town

They have gyms and work out areas. They have many clubs they you can join. Campus is right by many establishments and is close to the city for food places and shopping areas.

The city of Richmond is right around you. There are many places to eat, bowling, skating, shopping centers, etc. There wil never be a dull moment

Besides the clubs and organizations that VUU has to offer there are many things to do for fun around campus. There are great restaurants around the area, as well as bowling, shopping stores, the movies. There is never a dull moment for me and my friends.

Virginia Union has a lot of moments where you can have fun, the school will supply the fun for you and set up fun events when you first get there. There are also a lot of students that know how to have fun and are great to get along with. If you do not want to stay on campus and don't have a car or any access to one you can walk off campus and walk around the Richmond area. There are many things that are walking distance. Richmond has a lot of spots where you can have fun as well as grab something good to eat.

There are occasional movie nights. Most people hang around the game room during the week and every few weeks the student organization will hire a DJ for an alcohol free party in the main room of the Henderson Building.
