I've had a good experience here. It has not been as challenging as I expected. However, there are excellent transfer opportunities.

Virginia Western Community College has great transfer programs with wonderful instructors who are able to help you prepare every step of the way. The Board of Education has a special commitment to ensuring students are able to achieve their educational goals. Through financial aid and scholarship opportunities, through great educational programs, the Virginia Western Community College is clearly committed to creating a strong community through education.

VWCC is a great place to start your higher education. The atmosphere on campus is comforting and supportive. I would recommend this community college to anyone who thinks they want to go back to school.

It's an extremely friendly college where you get to know the staff and students very well. Campus is always maintained and cleaned which is nice. Virginia Western offers so much time and effort to help achieve anything you want.

Virginia Western Community College, for me, has turned out to be a pleasant surprise. As a student, you are not only getting just as good an education as a university, but the price of attendance also makes it more obtainable for a wide range of students to attend. You get a well rounded education, fantastic teachers, and the opportunity to meet a lot of new, diverse, and interesting people.

Virginia Western is affordable. There are lots of academic aids and technology. The food is not bad.

I've had great luck here, the staff and faculty are very helpful. Whenever I talk with someone in the community they always comment on how great Western is which is refreshing and makes me optimistic for transfering.

Virginia Western Community College is an ever growing, friendly environment. Their teachers and staff are extremely friendly and helpful and their library and study areas are most helpful. They have free writing centers where teachers will help review papers and study for math.

Virginia Western Community College is a great in-state college, the staff and people there are always so nice and friendly. It is also a very easy school to get into. I love the fact that everyone is so understanding and has a great disposition at this school. I am very honored to be a student here. Definitely a recommended college.

Virginia Western is a very nice school, but it's staff and teachers are disorganized. I didn't realize how good I had it at Kent State until I realized all the teachers weren't like the ones there. I love the other students there, they are very nice.
