There are several events held on campus throughout the year. One regular event is free movies held every Friday and Saturday night in the University Center. There are also things such as aWake All Night and aWakenings that are held periodically on weekends. Student Union puts on concerts; last year Macklemore was brought to campus and thus far this year Brett Eldridge has come. There's also the usual college activities such as sports events, tailgating, etc.

Greek Life is very common at Wake and it is a great experience. While this is the dominant social activity, there are other clubs and student groups that have their own events.

This is a tough question because Wake Forest tries so desperately to cut off students from the outside world and the rest of Winston-Salem. It seems like all there is to do for fun is go to frat parties and any school activities. There is plenty to do in the community I'm sure, but Wake Forest makes it almost impossible to explore the city and branch out. So, I'd say for fun, you can go to a school sponsored event or get wasted with some frat boys.

You could go play volleyball, basketball, or even get involved in the many intramural sports that are offered on campus. The parties are amazing! Other than parties, downtown Winston-Salem has a lot to offer; and there are shuttles running there every weekend, as well as to the mall.

Since the campus is centrally located the mall, theatre, and bowling alley are close by. Also the campus hosts events on the weekends to keep everyone involved.

Watch our somewhat pathetic athletic teams; even though we normally lose, the games are really fun to go to! Go off campus; Winston-Salem has amazing restaurants and the mall isn't too bad either. On campus events; the school and Greek organizations put on awesome philanthropy events as well as social events, which anyone can be apart of (think movies, kickball, softball, seize the quad, President's ball, Wake 'N Shake...opportunities are endless). Greek Life; fraternities are always throwing random themed parties...GO!

    1. Go to football, basketball and volleyball games 2. Discover the tunnels at Wake (yes, we have secret tunnels) 3. The frats have great lounge parties, just go to the right ones! 4. There is an adjoining village one can walk to through a picturesque trail behind the Bio building. It's got great restaurants, shops and spas! 5. Wake Forest hosts loads of cultural events in the fine arts center 6. The university's theater groups and organizations have loads of shows at the fine arts center and my friends and I make it a point to go to each one 7. Scout the upper and lower quads for any fairs and congregations - free food is usually provided!
