There are several different programs offered by Wake Tech other than education. Wake Tech offers sports teams and also student government. Whatever your interest may be I am sure there will be an extra curricular activity to fit your needs.

Being from the Raleigh area, there's plenty of low cost activities to participate in. I will always keep my college ID for any and all opportunities to receive discounts. North Carolina also has very nice weather during most of the year. So, I plan to do free outdoor activities because of my connection to nature. Also, I practice a Brazilian Martial Arts called, Capoeira.

It is a community college so most people will not travel far enough to have to change up their social life to attend.

Besides signing up for clubs and attending the Fall and Spring Festivals most of the things to do for fun involve being off campus. They do offer some trips overseas but I have never attended one.

There are plenty of great clubs to join. The school also host various activities for all students to get involved in.

Join clubs and organizations! It's like starting high school all over again! Want to make sure your transcript looks good for the transfer!
