Way to go! You are a future student of Warren County Community College! I'm appaulding you because you are making such a smart choice! WCCC offers a large range of certificate and degree programs that are designed to help you enter your career path or transfer to a four-year college or university. There is a specific club that is great for new students, which is called the Educational Opportunity Fund club (EOF). This club provides additional support for students as they transition into college life. It is a great time to be enrolling at WCCC due to their recent merge with Felician College for a bachelor's degree program. According to the Warren Reporter, Starting this fall, students who have obtained an associates degree from WCCC or who have completed two years of schooling at any institution may take classes toward a bachelor's degree in the areas of criminal justice, business, education and nursing, with advanced degrees to follow if there is sufficient demand. If you were thinking of transferring after two years you might not even have to, if you are interested in the degree areas that were listed. By choosing this path you are getting a degree with a four-year college for CHEAPER! If you are interested in applying for scholarships or finnancial aid you can either check out the website listed below or schedule an appointment with a representative in the financial aid office. There are many grant programs offered through the state of New Jersey. There are also grants that are awarded based on academics, and not just financial need. This is a great opportunity, check it out! Log on to www.warren.edu.
