Washburn University is not a small university but it is not a huge university which makes classes the right size. You get to know your professors and you are not just a number. If you engage in your studies and ask questions the professor are always wiling to make time to help you.

A nice and affordable university where extremely great teaching and learning takes place. There are many on campus activities to take part in for students. Students can get much needed one-on-one time with professors due to small class sizes.

As a 49-year-old non-traditional student I have found Washburn University is more than appealing. The small class settings have made my college life rewarding, yet challenging. I truly recommend Washburn University for not only the non-traditional student, but for any student who really wants the most an education can offer.

Washburn University is a great place to receive an education. At Washburn you will find knowledgeable professors, and medium to small class sizes which I believe promote a healthy learning environment that is focused on the student. WU is the most practical and logical choice within the local area.

Washburn has wonderful scholarship opportunities. The university is much smaller than K-State or KU, so you might find yourself in different general education classes with the same people. The professors are very skilled and know you by name at the end of the semester.
