Categories Comments Campus Safety there are some rules on campus that make this a very safe campus.
Clubs and Activities Student senate, adventure Rec club.
Great for these types of students red necks, mechanics, chefs, nurses, CNA, a very wide variety of people here at WCCC.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus we have the annual redneck games, if you like loud trucks, and any other redneck activities you can think of, then come to WCCC.
Bang for the buck What beats 3000 a semester, you get the degree you are looking for, for a steal. Nobody can compare to the price of WCCC.
What to do for fun Disc Golf, hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, sea kayaking. anything out doors you can find it here. Also there is a basketball court, and a ping pong and pool table available when ever you want.
Food and Dining enjoy just about anything from the great River-view dining hall.
Dorm Life your own little apartment, built in refrigerator, fully furnished, and WIFI capabilities.
Academic Rigor Classes are small and you get a lot of personal time with you teacher, so don't be afraid to ask for help.
Tips for prospective students Make friends, explore all possibilities, and play some awesome games of disc golf.
In three sentences This college is a small, quiet school, with many opportunities. This College ranges from Culinary to Auto Mechanic. Also WCCC has a spectacular view of the St. Croix river right in front of there Campus.

Categories Comments Great for these types of students This school is perfect for those who love small class sizes and friendly people. There is alot of one on one with the teachers so the learning experience is very personal.
Tips for prospective students Buy a planner to keep track of your busy school schedule and busy life. Your a college student now, so time to get organized.
Bang for the buck The tuition is very affordable along with the books required for classes. My finacial aid covered alot of the expenses and even some of my books. The caffeteria is also very cheap and delicious.
Am enjoying being here The campus is nice and spacious. Also out of almost every window is a gorgeous view of Canada and the Saint Croix River. All the students and staff are extremely friendly. There is always something happening on campus from field trips to movie nights it is a never a dull day here.
Am learning a lot Washington County Community College was not my first pick for a college, But now that I go here I am glad I made the decision to attend. I am in the medical assisting program and I absolutely love it. My teachers are amazing and they actually make learning fun. I have a whole new understanding for all the subjects I struggled with in high school. The teachers here really care about their students and will get you on the right track towards your career.

Clubs and Activities Frisbee Golf, Rock Wall
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Polar Dip: Optional winter swim in te nearby St Croix River.
Bang for the buck Cheapest school in the state of Maine and has exeptional instructors and hold their students to the highest standards.
What to do for fun The school has and outdoor adventure center with gear for climbing, canoeing, kayaking, ice fishing, mountain biking, and camping wich makes for the fun time when the weathers warm. When winter freezes over most students frequent pubs on either side of the river(legal drinking age in Canada is 19).
Food and Dining The is a small cafe open during the week with a limited menue but students are expected to provide food and cook for themselves.
Dorm Life The dorms are apartments housing five students each, two doubles and one single, with a shared bathroom and kitchen. The dorms are ample but the rules and regs are strict and off campus appartments and be found at lower prices.
Academic Rigor It is community college and does not necessitate the type of academic rigor found in most four year degrees however everything learned, even in the trades, also has a classroom aspect assigned to it.
Tips for prospective students Make sure you pay the school a visit first to be sure rural Maine won't be too much of a culture shock for you. If you like what you see after your visit to the town and school make a year out of it.
In three sentences WCCC is ranked among the best community colleges in the nation. Located in Calais Maine directly on the Canadian border. Extremely fun school if you bring your passport.
