I’ve been taking art classes to build up my portfolio for when I transfer and the art teachers here are phenomenal. Many of them are also employed at more expensive, “brand name” colleges like Eastern or U of M, so it’s like getting the same teaching experience for a couple thousand dollars less.

The school needs more places to sit around campus. The school also has bills just pop the heck up out of nowhere. Not enough classes offered in the class catalog.

WCC is a good college to dual-enroll in high school. The campus is safe and looks nice. They have online/ blended classes and classes on satellite campuses.

Washtenaw Community College is great for anyone. Many of the faculty at WCC are just like any other instructors/professors you would find at a larger university; they are trained, experienced, and professional people! The community college status doesn't mean anything - you still need a work-ethic to get the A! - but the faculty are there to make sure you succeed!

A great place to start when you don't know what you want to major in. Cheaper than a four year university without losing the education benefits. Easy to navigate the school and located in a nice area.

Easy to get around campus, and parking isn't that big of a problem (no parking passes.) Instructors are friendly and want you to succeed. There are plenty of student activities to be involved in, and there are many outside activities to also participate in.

It's a great school to start out with. It prepares students for beyond community college. The instructors are great if you communicate with them.

Its community college, so it can be hard or easy depending on your own skill level and what kind of teacher you get. They have really nice facilities here though.

Good opportunity to get pre-requisites or general education credits out of the way for cheap. Professors can be hit or miss, so ask other students, read reviews, and don't be afraid to drop a class! Classes tend to be pretty easy, and you'll get out of them just exactly as much as you put in.
