    The tuition is affordable, even for the less fortunate. The college offers employment on campus as well. There is rarely a shortage of jobs near by.

    Plenty! And then some... Waubonsee is one of the cheapest routes but it doesn't mean you're not getting what you pay for. I've heard stories from friends that were starting at NIU, UIC, etc. and they actually switched to Waubonsee to get their General Education classes out of the way here because the professors were much friendlier and willing to help you learn and it was way less expensive.

    Waubonsee Community College is worth every penny because it provides a necessary education and prepares students for four year universities. It allows students to save money before moving away, and is easy to attend while having a part time or full time job.
