    Do not expect Wayne State to baby you, it is nothing like high school. Not only will your teachers challenge you, but they will help you as best as they can to get you where you want to be. You have to be involved in things, such as a club, or athletics to get the full effect of the college.

    Register for classes early, and keep up with blackboard. Meet with your professors at least 2-3x during the semester to form a bond and clarify your standing in the class.

    If you are a commuter make sure you come extra early for parking the first two weeks of the semester or you will not get a spot. Also, watch where you park when at the meters because you will get a ticket.

    Some tips would be: Be prepared to pay expensive tuition. Do not come into Wayne State thinking that the school would be a breeze. Despite its reputation, Wayne is actually one of the safest schools around. If you have a car, make sure you get a parking pass.

    If you're looking for a college with diversity, a school that takes it's education seriously, and has any opportunity available for it's students then Wayne State University is your school. It's a lot of fun but remember they take education seriously so don't think for a second that you can slack and pass your courses. Always use the resources around you and the students are friendly so you'll meet and know tons of great people!
