    Join clubs, try out for athletic teams and consider the Greek life! It is fun to walk around in the early fall/spring time and to check out the stands that fellow students sometimes set up.

    There is lots to do since it's in Midtown. The casinos are around, Comerica park, Ford Field, Detroit Institute of Art, Main Branch of the Detroit Public Library, the Detroit Science Center, the African History Museum and lots more.

    Wayne State is located in Mid-Town so there are many places to visit such as, clubs, bars, frat houses, dinning, etc.

    Since Wayne State in located in downtown Detroit you can only imagine what you can do on a Friday night. The University always has events going on such as games, plays and even free tickets to concerts. If none of that sounds good then there are bowling alleys in the area, Campus Martius and in the summer there is always something going on downtown. You can't be bored unless you're just boring.

    Comerica Park is luckily in Detroit you can catch a game suring the baseball season at a discounted price through WSU. The Joe Louis arena is also located in Detroit and you can also catch a Redwings' game. There are plenty of restaurants to ear at and festivals that happen year around as well.
