Around Town

Since you are by downtown, there are tons of cool restaurants, sporting events, and festivals. Every Thursday downtown at most bars is college night. Also the sororities and frat houses always have events that you can attend. There is always something to do and see.

There are plenty of things to do around campus and in Detroit.

There are Warrior Wednesdays: which is just getting free stuff :) Also on Wednesdays they play movies for free for Wayne State students. There are also various activities that happen in the Student Center, some of them were creating t-shirts and bracelets. And football games are really fun too. I enjoy those :) The DIA and Detroit Historical Museum is also a 5 minute walk from campus, and that is really fun to go to with friends as a study break.

Participate in on campus and local community events. Dine in the many restaurants in the area. Join friends for a movie on or off campus.

There are tons of opportuniites for students to do,. Check with the student activites center for outings, movies and activities.

Go to downtown Detroit and have fun! There's many different things that someone could do. It's always nice to go to Greek Town for some food, or just to hangout around that environment, or maybe peaceful walks along side the River Front.

We'll Wayne State is in the heart of Detroit. So there is a lot of dining areas to go to eat, there are also sporting events like the Detroit lions and tigers so if there is nothing to do on campus you always have those options.
