Mission: Founded in 1836 as the first college in the world for women, Wesleyan College offers an education that leads to lifelong intellectual, personal, and professional growth.     I love the campus. It is very beautiful and spacious with plenty to do on campus. Being that I am from the suburbs, I am used to there being more things to do off campus and Macon does not very many things to do. This only means students are pushed to find things to do either on campus or with the college students nearby.

    Wesleyan students are not only highly intelligent, but also possess a genuine bond which is rarely found in any other college environment. Upon starting the first few weeks of school my freshman year, I felt as though I had known some of my classmates for years. Although this school has a wide variety of clubs, organizations, and sports teams, it is the women who attend the school which uphold the pioneering spirit it is famous for.
