Around Town

There are lots of activities to do from poetry slams to acapella groups to so much more!

There are parties every weekend. What more do you want? Although if you're looking for more wholesome fun you could stop by the Freeman Athletic Center to workout, shoot some hoops, swim, or play whatever sport. We also have a university center with pool tables, Foosball, TVs, and videogames. You don't have to go all the way to the university center to watch TV though as there are some in every dorm lounge. Also there's quite a bit to do in town. You could catch a movie (that is if you aren't a fan of the movies they show on campus every Wednesday-Saturday), go skating, eat out, or a myriad of other interesting things. Basically there's a lot of fun stuff to do here at Wes.

There is a ton of things to do for fun. Although it is a D3 school in sports there are a ton of sports you can play and club teams you can join if you do not want to commit a lot of time to a varsity sport. There are also events always going on from film series to random poetry jams. There is always something going on and it is well advertised around campus.

Lots of on-campus activities, most of the events seem to be on campus and not in the town, but there is also easy access to boston and nyc.

Wesleyan has so many opportunities to get involved in new activities. Take risks: try out for a play. Be supportive: watch a community sporting event. Express your self: enroll in an art class. There is so much to do so long as you are proactive during your time here.

A great place to find some friends for life, and just hang out with them.

There are events every weekend so there's always something to do, whether or not you're a partier or not.

The university sends out a weekly email detailing all of the on-campus events going on in that particular week. The majority are often sporting events of one form or another, but there are also many productions, open mic nights, and other alternative things to do for fun. On the weekends, of course, there is partying to some extent, but it's in no way forced upon students if they don't wish to participate.

in middletown there is laser tag, movie theater and many shops. not far from middletown there is a mall, bowling and many more activities. on campus there are plenty of clubs and activities to do along with intramural and varsity sports.
