I give this five stars as a former in-state, full-time, on-campus student. The tuition was fantastic for the wealth of education I gained, and the variance in experiences. The academic advisers are extremely helpful in keeping you on the right track, though you still need to mind your plan of study on your own. Don't let any rumors fool you- the school does not try to keep people from graduating to increase revenue. I changed my major and still made it out in four years. :) Not sure if this is still the case, but colleagues from New Jersey often attended because it was cheaper to go to WVU as an out-of-state student than to attend an NJ university in-state.

For all the programs they offer and the price (especially if you're in-state) you can't beat it. They hand out scholarships like crazy.

If in-state, its super cheap obviously. Its pretty cheap for out-of-state also in comparison to most other schools which is why there are so many kids from states like NY and NJ.

The price is definitely worth it. You get what you pay for. There are so many different activities to do; there's always something going on for free. Many times the dorms will have parties for its residents and give out snacks, among other things. Also, while I was attending, I needed to see a therapist. WVU offers therapy totally for free to its students, which was extremely helpful, because therapy can be expensive. I feel confident about the price I'm paying to go to this school, and I believe it will pay off in the future.
