Food service on campus is great and easily accessible. The dining hall is centrally located and is very nice ans spacious. Also, the university center has dining options as well. This provides another accessible food location. There are many options for a variety of nutritional needs.

There needs to be more dining options especially healthy options. The dining areas seem to be in one part of campus. Another dining hall should be set up closer to the library for those that spend hours there. The Starbucks is a lifesaver but I feel there should be another one closer to the library.

The food options are getting much better here. They are coming out with better healthier options on campus, and there is also already a wide variety of all types of foods. I don't seem to get tired of the food options here.

The dining hall has decent food that you pay for with your meal plan and there are fast food restaurants downstairs from the dining hall, as well as in the UC if you get tired of it.

Western Carolina has a big Greek Life. The problem is that is seems very cliquish. They tend to sit together in the cafe, hang out with one another, take the same classes together, join the same clubs. College is about being open minded and engaging in relationships with people that are different from you. This helps you in the real world and dealing with diversity. College is also a time to look within yourself and find out who you are and what you want to do.

Greek life does a lot on campus, as far as I have seen. You have some that are more popular than others but for the most part we have quite a few greek letter organizations. Every corner you turn, you will see someone who is apart of Greek life.

From what I have seen, Greek Life is very active. I know several people in fraternities and sororities, and they love every minute of it. They are always doing around something out on the lawns or in the quad and are usually all around campus. They are all very friendly and open, it's just a matter of which one fits you best.
