» Read MoreWestern Carolina is a little less expensive than most schools in North Carolina. I think it's well worth it. The classes are small which is good because you don't feel like just a number. Some of the buildings are older but historic which is cool. They use a rental program for your books which is AWESOME because you don't have to pay a fortune for your books.
