What Students Are Saying

Follow what you want to do not what everyone else thinks you should do. You are the one that will be doing this type of work. If your not ready for college don't do it! It will at first break someones heart but not their wallet. Go when you realize how much you want this for your future. It will make a huge different in how you approach learning.
Catherine from Port Saint Lucie, FL
If you are interested in a Business, Teaching, or IT degree check out the programs with WGU. WGU is based out of Utah, but they have a new campus (opened just last year 2010) in Indiana.
Students wanting to start the program must apply by the 15th of the month to start the 1st of the next month.
Kim from Bardstown, KY
call and talk with the course mentors ifyou have any questions or problems. they will explain it till you get it!
Elizabeth from Middle River, MN
be a self-starter and committed to working for your degree. be willing and able to study on your own. use the resources available to you.
Cheryl from Galena, MO
Ask questions if you don't understand something, there's plenty of help. Don't procrastinate. Use your time wisely.
MIKE from BROOKLYN, NY
i would advise future students to avoid delaying their education. there will never be a better time than right now.
Joey from Southaven, MS
this is a self-paced course and requires you to be very discipline. set a goal and time of to study and stick with it. your mentors are your best friends.
Jo from Quincy, FL
Just stay on top of things. Yes, everyone at WGU will support you as best they can - but you have to motivate yourself and not give up!
Ashley from Paterson, NJ
pay close attention to their grading process.
Tiffany from Woodbridge
Be prepared to study hard and learn a lot! Don't be fooled because it is an online university...this school will challenge you better than some brick and mortar schools! Do not be afraid to ask for help. The course mentors are there to help as well as the student mentors. Pay attention to the posts in the community board as they have a lot of helpful information. Try to attend webinars and do not procrastinate!
