Join a club and get involved. The Society of Educators on campus holds several events each semester.

I hang out with friends for fun.

There is a bowling ally here as well as a movie theater to go to for fun. also Buffalo Wild Wings is very popular for everyone, I am always seeing people there.

Everyone always parties for fun (and WIU is a place to be for that entertainment because there is at least a few a week). But you need to be involved in a club or activity for college to be a ton of fun. You will love it in WIU if you find those types of entertainment fun. Also, you will want to be involved in the free Recreation Center to utilize some time.

Go out to the bars or out to eat.

Go to the movies, a lot of state parks, close to st. louis and springfield!

Every weekend there are parties if you are a person who likes to hang out for those who don't they have the option to bowl, workout, swim, skate, and get involve in different programs on campus. Like , game nights in dorms, attend bingo nights and win gifts and etc.

Greek life on campus is wonderful. It is a great opportunity to meet new people and also a great start to your future. Join a club or intramural sport. Do something where you can meet new people.
