It's a great learning community. There's many different majors to pick from. Lastly, it's very economic compared to other schools.

The school works very hard to make sure all prerequisites are met for both the Illinois, Iowa and surrounding states teacher licensure and endorsements for Jr. High School. WIU keeps current on the frequent state and national policy changes that effect teachers on a regular basis.
