    Prospective students should investigate possible professor reviews for teachers in their major, this might seem far fetch for freshman but it's beneficial in the long run. Another word if advise for students thinking about attending Western Michigan would be, start off living on campus and getting involved on campus.

    Prospective students make sure to pack lots of warm clothes and multiple fans for your dorm. This is Michigan we're talking about, the winter is fierce and the summer is stifling.

    There are a lot of places to buy books around campus, go to the book store before you buy your books and compare them with Amazon or Chegg. Go to the help rooms there are a lot here and the professors are willing to help.

    1) Take advantage of the bus, it's free! 2) Use DSK (Drive Safe Kalamazoo). If you've been out drinking and need a ride home, DSK is your friend. 3) Go to the tutoring labs if you're struggling with a class. It's definitely worth the time. 4) Go on rate my professor before registering for classes to see what you're getting into. 5) Go to Bistro 3 for late night, they have shakes, ice cream, and other goodies!
