Don't assume this is just an inner city school- visit the campus. Take advantage of the open houses and shadow a student days. Ask to check out the new labs since it isn't part of the regular tour.

I am a transfer student to WNEU. I would recommend that school to a prospective student because in addition to offering a lot of different majors the campus is beautiful, even in the winter! I have been very lucky in my studies so far to have great teachers and great classmates. I do not live on campus so I can not say anything for the dorms or campus life but I have been able to enjoy the gym, the campus center, and the library.
