Around Town

Check out the trails for hikes. There is tons of outdoorsy things to do.

Bellingham is full of fun and adventurous activities. You and a group of friends can go out for a bite to eat in gorgeous Bellingham and enjoy the water. Sailing is also a fun activity to partake in.

You can wander around downtown, the Saturday market's fun to explore, lots of coffeeshops to sit down and chat with people, the bay is within walking distance from campus, and you can reach lots of different parks through the bus. Also on campus there are lots of different clubs to join, and intramurals to participate in!

You could go to Mallards Ice Cream, local churches, hiking, skiing, kayaking, AB Crepes, and so much more.

Explore Bellingham! It's a fun town with lots of outdoor activities. The beach is right down the road and there are several places to hike, mountain bike, walk, and even snowboard in close proximity to campus. On campus there are always fun events and clubs so there's no need to be bored.

The recreation center is great, and the performing arts program puts on shows (music, theater, and dance) almost every evening.

Bellingham, Washington is a wonderful city!! With Mount Baker on one side and the ocean on the other, you get a taste of everything. It is a laid-back city that greatly supports green living, the arts, etc. and I am so glad to it call my home.

Lots of yoga studios around Bellingham

WWU is right next to the bay, a lake, the arboretum, and close to Mount Baker. That means hiking, biking, skiiing, snowboarding, kayaking, sailing, canoeing, swimming, and so much more! There is also downtown Bham, which is fun to walk around, and Fairhaven which is a cute downtown area.

There are so many places to explore around Bellingham! Downtown is very cool, and hiking is very popular up here. There's beautiful scenery basically everywhere you go! The music scene is pretty hopping, too, but a lot of the clubs where the good local bands play are 21 and up, which is a bummer.
