WWU’s faculty can be characterized as innovative, challenging, and accommodating. Most every classroom is equipped with the technology to allow for multi-media presentations, so you will never have a talking head professor. The professors try to cater to every type of learner through these different mediums and apply what you learn to the real world. For me, this type of instruction included completing a project that will be used by Western faculty and affect the way they teach. You will never go hungry for knowledge with the fast paced and interactive classroom environment. Speaking up and speaking out in class...

    Western has cheerful, friendly students and helpful staff. The campus is beautiful in the spring and fall. There are many things to do on campus and many outdoor activities to participate in.

    Western is a smaller college, but has a great academic reputation. The small class size makes it possible to get to know your professors on a personal level. It is also very affordable compared to many state schools.

    Western Washington University is perfect in so many ways - inviting, fun, inclusive, small but not too small - the list goes on. The professors are more than willing to help with any issues during and outside of office hours and are willing to go the extra mile in general to make you feel valued. The school is great for all types, from incoming transfer students, to freshman, to graduate students looking to earn a masters.

    WWU is fairly laid back for a four-year university. In 300 and 400 level courses, your professors will take a more personal approach to teaching, but not in 100 and 200 level courses. The campus is one of the most beautiful I've seen.

    Western Washington University is a very beautiful campus that is filled with many intelligent students ready to learn from the incredible professors and from each other. As a senior in high school I was excited to join the WWU community and now that I am attending WWU, getting involved in everything and anything that interests me, my excitement only rises. I know for sure that WWU is the perfect school for academic and future success.

    Absolutely the nicest and most contemporary campus in Washington. It is very spread out and frustrating when it rains. The recreation center is fantastic and well worth the money.

    Western Washington University is a very diverse and open campus. The campus is beautiful, although the weather can be poor at times (hello Pacific Northwest. The professors here are top notch and care about their studies.
