Being a private liberal arts school, the tuition at Westminster is relatively pricey. However, most students receive bountiful financial aid packages which lower costs dramatically. In the end, the academic, extracurricular, social, and recreational opportunities make the cost of attending Westminster well worth it.

I was able to get all of the cost except for about $5000 paid for. I have a few small outside scholarships. The financial aid office is very helpful in walking you through your awards! Talk to them and consider your options. They really want you to go to their school!

As far as private liberal arts colleges go Westminster seems fairly standard. I can't reliably compare the experience to a public school though.

Being a private school, you can expect higher tuition. (albeit, this school's price can be quite staggering without a scholarship.) However, Westminster offers some financial perks: free local transportation, access to hundreds of databases that you would normally pay for, an exciting May Term, a writing lab, discounted ski passes, and other interesting things.

Our hiring percentage post graduation is remarkably high. When you consider your employ-ability, education, and social promise the cost seems more bearable.
