    You'll want a car if you're moving to the Wichita area. There buildings are all relatively close, but getting anywhere off campus can be a hassle.

    If you're stuck in Wichita, consider Butler County Community College, at least for your first two years. It's much cheaper and has some good professors. On the other hand, the new president at WSU is implementing lots of changes that will affect the entire university. The changes are designed to make WSU better in many ways, from having more online options to applying knowledge in real-world applications.
