There are always things going on on-campus, such as performances and lectures, so there is always something to do. I felt like I was busy all the time, but it didn't make me stressed out like it would have before I came to Winthrop because I was doing fun things between school work. The cultural event requirement is so great because it makes students get out of their rooms and do things, making the social life more fun.

Winthrop is inexpensive and excellent for a public University. In the State of South Carolina they are the best option for their visual arts and Graphic Design programs.

It's worth it. I love it here and I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't! Winthrop is especially great for Education, Fine Art, Biology, and Chemistry majors. We also have a fantastic Honors Program and several on-campus jobs to take advantage of.

Tuition is a little steep but you're paying for an excellent education and it's worth it. You get access to top of the line facilities and improvements to the already awesome university are being made each year.
