Wiregrass has two major organizations for students; the student life council, and the Collegiate fellowship (christians meeting every tuesday, free lunch provided with guest speakers). About once a semester the student life council will host a one day event with free food, gifts, carnival games, tents with local businesses, teeth cleaning (dental assisting), glucose and cholesterol testing (clinical lab technology), showcase of students welds, car bodies, air conditioners (industrial programs).
