Around Town

Check out the local area, and get involved on campus! There are so many clubs to chose from that your interest(s) will be fulfilled by at least one!

Join clubs and meeting new people. Also, downtown Dayton is about 5 minutes away.

There's a really nice mall next to campus. The area around that is quite good. Plenty of activities planned by the University Activities Board, like Fall Fest and April Craze, and WSU owns the Nutter Center where they do events and concerts (Monster trucks come, Trans-Siberian Orchestra was there, etc.)

First weekend for the freshman are full of fun activities to attend. Every year Wright State has a Boogie on the Bricks event. This is held on the quad on most years but this is subject to change. There is music, food, and lots of people! Also many on campus events include comedians, partying and my person favorite the hypnotists.

The Nutter Center is always selling tickets for sports games and other shows such as the Cirque du Soleil in the summer. The theater program on campus also performs shows throughout the year. There are also a lot student organization and activities going that are sometimes not widely known.

They have events all the time that you can go to Wright State really knows how to interact.

Join clubs, shop at the local mall, go to events held on campus, hockey games, and hang out with friends/

There are always things to do. For example intramural sports and clubs such as the biology clubs and etc....

Because of the commuter school status, the residential services office is putting a lot of effort in fostering the on-campus feeling of community.

There is a small, but close-knit Greek community. And trust me, they are not your average Frat guys and Sorority girls. They are real people who want to be involved on campus.
