Categories Comments Food and Dining They have Monty's which is where you normally eat. But this new idea called Meal Exchange lets you go to one of our many restaurants and eat there for Free

Categories Comments Campus Safety On campus is very safe, but off campus students should be careful, especially in the night hours.
Clubs and Activities There are many different clubs and activities to get involved with on campus if students are willing to participate in them.
Great for these types of students It is great for students who prefer a small classroom.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus All STJ students must be signed out of another dorm before 3:00am or a violation will be given. Also non-STJ students cannot be signed in overnight of the opposite sex.
Bang for the buck The academic program is outstanding, but the institution tuition is very high for what is provided on campus.
What to do for fun The city is only a train ride away. There are plenty of things to do in the city, also you can catch a games at either Yankee Stadium, Shea Stadium, or Madison Square Garden. Also there are many clubs and student activities that take place during the school year that a student should get involved with.
Food and Dining The food has it's days where it is good, and it also has it's days where it is bad. I personally have never gotten sick by the food, but expect to be served the same food daily. Furthermore, there are meal exchanges at many different restaurants on campus which inevitably makes up for the lack of variety in Montgoris Dining Hall.
Dorm Life Dorms are exceptional compared to public schools. They are very spacious and the hallways are always cleaned daily by maintenance. Also their is free laundry which takes off a load of stress financially.
Academic Rigor Academics are outstanding, the professors are great, and their are very small classes, which provides more attention to the student for questions to be answered.
Tips for prospective students When coming to St. John's expect a great Academic setting, do not be to giddy about the night-life, but become involved in student activities such as clubs or intramural sports. That is a great way to meet colleagues and new lifetime friends.
In three sentences St. John's University is a small university with small classes which is perfect for the student who requires extra attention. This school has a very good academic program with a great student body and student activity programs. Also the campus is nicely sized, not too small, or too big.

Categories Comments What to do for fun Student life is very active.
Food and Dining They have all sorts of food available for the students.
Academic Rigor Pharmacy program is very rigorous.
Tips for prospective students Don't go to St. John's University unless you are studying for pharmacy, PA, toxicology, and more in the allied health program. They are very rigorous and the internship programs are very well organized.
In three sentences I feel like St. John's university is not really academically based. The only academic center which I see is the St. John's University college of Pharmacy and allied health. The libraries are always loud during finals and midterm week.

Food and Dining The food and dining my freshman year was not that great but now they have made major improvements like including dunkin donuts, subway, starbucks, and even nathan's!
Dorm Life I lived in the dorms my freshman year and I saw that every college student should live on campus their first year just to get a feel of campus life and to meet and network with the students. My dorm was pretty nicely sized
Academic Rigor Since of course it is a private catholic college you will have to take theology. They professors are not to strict but are firm on teaching.
