Since my first day at Youngstown State University I have had so many doors open before my eyes involving new opportunities to learn and make my college experience amazing. I feel that I can truly enjoy myself at this particular college because I can stay as long as I want to study and spend time with friends, but then I can also leave when I want to come home and spend time with family. I enjoy being able to have more freedom and become involved with whatever I would like on campus. Youngstown State University gives me that exact opportunity.

I am a peer mentor at the Center for Student Progress and I mentor incoming college freshmen to help them adjust to college life. I am also involved in a few different organizations and play on the intramural volleyball team. The students, professors, and staff at YSU are all very excepting and the campus has so much to offer.
