Around Town

There is a vast amount of resources for entertaining yourself. Downtown is three blocks away with a barrage of restaurants, bars, and theaters to keep you occupied for the evening.

There are more than enough things on or around the campus pass the time. The REC center is a great place to go to meet new people and get a great workout in, not to mention the myriad of options of things to do while in there.

YSU has an excellent sports program. Football is alive and well at YSU as well as the other sports. There are social activities on campus as well as local pubs and clubs in the area where students can enjoy live music.

There is a wonderful gym that can be used by students, many sports opportunities, concerts, lectures, and many groups to get involved in.

Campus life has alot to offer

There are many activities and groups availiable on campus. The best thing to do is to get involved.

There are a lot of clubs and activities to do. On breaks there are usually people playing frisbee and soccer among other activities.

I am a member of the softball team, so for fun I play softball.

There are a lot of activities on campus and in the city of Youngstown

Because campus is a commuter campus there is not much to do besides university sporting events. Youngstown is however located between Pittsburgh and Cleveland which offer great shopping, concerts and a bigger city experience.
