    Bang for the buck

    For only $15,000 a year, it's one of the cheapest (non junior or community) schools around.

    Tips for prospective students

    Come to the Campus preview if you can. It gives you a great taste of what the school is all about and it's a great chance to meet some potential future classmates. This year (2010) the Campus preview is March 11-13. Be sure to Contact the school so they know you're coming. (www.calvary.edu)

    Great for these types of students

    Any Christian. Whether you are looking to go into full time ministry, just get a semester or two of bible before you go off to a bigger university, or get a Masters degree from the seminary, this the college for you.

    Academic Rigor

    the bible classes are exceptional and will challenge your thinking and any preconceived ideas you might have had.

    Dorm Life

    dorm life is amazing! it's a close knit community between halls. there are brother-sister hall activities, devos, dorm parties, etc.

    Food and Dining

    food is actually good for school food. salad bar, sandwich line, hot line, soda/juice fountain, ceral/breakfast area.

    What to do for fun

    kansas city is 20 minutes south of the campus. you can go to worlds of fun or oceans of fun. ice skating in winter, to different plays and operas at umkc, the art museum, etc.

    Bang for the buck

    definitely worth what you pay if you are willing to make the most of your experience.

    Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus

    you will be showered (being immersed in cold water) if you are engaged while a student on campus or when you graduate lol

    music and theatre students have amazing opportunities at calvary! also pastoral studies and counseling majors.

    chorale, evidence (vocal ensemble), men's soccer and basketball, women's volleyball and basketball

    Greek Life

    you can take greek classes!

    Campus Safety

    a guard is on duty at all times, security cameras are placed all over campus, girls receive rape whistles to call for help, stickers go on the campus vehicles, etc.
