Categories Rating Comments Tips for prospective students Clark has been a pretty fun learning environment, and I've met some amazing people while attending. There are some teachers who are harder to learn from than others, but the ones that you can get can teach you a lot more than you think they can.
Great for these types of students The library gives students a wide variety of choices to choose from when trying to find a essay topic, and it has an even better website to research on. Not only does the library help out on studying tips, it helps students find somewhere quiet to work; either by yourself, or with other students in group rooms.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot Clark is defiantly a great school to attend. There are great teachers in every department who really love teaching and make class interesting.
Am enjoying being here I have been attending full time for three quarters and have not been disappointed with a class yet. There are plenty of clubs and other activities going on around campuses that everyone can be a part of.
Bang for the buck Being a community college you defiantly save on tuition by attending here. The only negative thing would have to be the non student run book store making books cost an arm and a leg.
Tips for prospective students The parking situation at Clark is terrible show up early for class or anything really.
Great for these types of students Really this school is great for anyone.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot Even though I have only completed my first quarter at Clark, the teachers have been exceptional. They are always willing to assist you and take time out of their busy day to help you with whatever they can help you on.
Am enjoying being here There is quite a diversity at this college. You have a wide range of ages and backgrounds in the students and the teachers; and I like this. They are helpful and friendly, and it makes it easier to get through school.
Tips for prospective students There is a lot of independence and you are expected to act like an adult. Although Clark and its staff reminds you of things, you are responsible for taking action.
Great for these types of students For those who are unsure about what they want to major in and completing their prerequisite courses. You save a lot of money attending this college and there is a lot of support in figuring out what classes to take and what is the best major for you.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences Clark College is one of the most accredited community college in Clark county in Vancouver, WA. There is a great diversity in this campus, which is something great to see. Clark is student-focused and it is evident in many projects it participates in, whether within the campus or the community.
Tips for prospective students Clark is a great way to start if you're looking to take classes that are taught by professors who are Master's degree holders in their respective fields. Our student government is also highly advertised in our campus and the community, giving Clark students the opportunity to participate in events and activities that will enhance their college experience here. We also have a lot of helpful and well-trained staff that will make your transition to college as smoothly as possible.
Academic Rigor Clark offers classes that it thinks will help you ready for your chosen field and broaden your college perspective if you are pursuing a general AA degree. Classes are taught mostly by full-time and tenured professors, making these classes often challenging. These challenges are particularly helpful as they help develop critical thinking and organization skills--some skills that are essential to being a successful college student.
Dorm Life Clark is a two-year community college and therefore do not provide campus housing for students.
Food and Dining Clark has the most awesome bakery and cafeteria! All foods served in our bakery and cafeteria are prepared by our own Culinary Arts students, and those foods always taste good! We also have our own Clark Dining Area, which is more like a restaurant-type area in a formal setting where students, faculty, staff, and visitors could take advantage of tasting the most delicious dishes prepared by our students organized in menus.
What to do for fun ASCC is our student government which organizes numerous events and activities that all students, faculty, staff and even their families could participate in. Students can take time off from studying by participating in these events, and most of them are for free and provide refreshments. They are activities that really unite the college community together and promote friendships within our campus.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences Clark is a great place to learn. I have made a lot of friends through clark's running start program. The one negative is that I do not feel very safe on Clark's campus at night.
Tips for prospective students I would make sure to get your counselors card so you can contact them. Clark is pretty good at guiding you through a lot of things, but is quite confusing at certain points. My counselor is very helpful at these times.
Academic Rigor Most professors and staff are very helpful. I learn what I need to learn.
Dorm Life No dorms
Food and Dining There are vending machines along with a cafeteria. The food there is good, but the cafeteria never seems to be open when I need it.

Bang for the buck I am in running start so I don't pay very much tuition, but even if I paid a lot more, my education at clark would be worth it.
Great for these types of students People looking for a transfer degree, running start students, and people interested in health and fitness.
Clubs and Activities The activities provided by clark that I have attended are top notch. Totally worth my time.
Greek Life I don't even know what that means.
Campus Safety Apparently it's a pretty safe campus, but I don't feel very safe there. It's not in what I would call a bad neighborhood but it's not in the best, either...

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences I rate clark college as an 8. This is because they strive to cater to their students. But they are becoming overcrowded and there is no parking.
Tips for prospective students Check ratemyprofessor.com there are plenty of horrible teachers that the college does not get rid of. Get to class about a half hour before class because parking is horrific.
Academic Rigor I have learned a lot from these teachers. Whether or not I did well in the class, I always learned something.
Dorm Life I lived outside of Vancouver. For a very good reason. Vancouver Washington is not the nicest area around. There are crimes commited all the time. It is also rundown. Also Clark college does not provide dorms.
Food and Dining Good dining at in the vancouver area close to the college, is pretty good. The restaurant beaches, is the best! Also Little Italy (downtown is very well known and great.
What to do for fun There is not much to do for fun in this area. I find myself bored or searching in portland for entertainment.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Clark college has a Sakura festival located by the sakura trees, located on campus.
Clubs and Activities There are a variety of clubs. From gaming to Japanese, there are a ton.
Campus Safety There have been some racist problems on campus, that are to loud to ignore. Although there are campus security numbers posted all over campus even on the syllabus's of class's. The security is always driving on golf carts around campus, so I do feel somewhat safe.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences A beautiful campus with a huge diversity of people. Most of the teachers are nice and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved on campus and be a part of Clark College.
Tips for prospective students Figure out what you need to do early on- don't wait to see what requirements you need to fill until the last minute. Especially because Clark is full of people- so getting into the classes you need can be challenging at times, and trying to get in with an advisor or counselor can be tricky as well. Plan your time wisely and do things early.
Academic Rigor Depending on what classes you take, for the most part it's a pretty good challenge. If you keep up and work hard, you'll be fine.
Dorm Life None.
Food and Dining I've only eaten from their cafeteria a couple times, but it was pretty good. Their bakery though- the pasteries and desserts and such, are delicious!
What to do for fun They have a lot of clubs and organizations, a couple events here and there. They put on plays, fairs, etc. There's a pretty wide scope of things to do here if you look for it.
Bang for the buck A little on the expensive side for a community college... especially with the books and their buyback system.
Clubs and Activities They have a lot of clubs and activities- just go look around and ask about them.
Greek Life None.
Campus Safety I feel very safe here. Walking out to my car in the dark parking lot after a night class does get a little creepy though sometimes...
