Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot Coffeyville Community College offers a wide variety of courses that allow for a great transition between High School and a 4-year University.
Am enjoying being here The campus is small and everything is very close together. The town is quiet and everyone is friendly.
Bang for the buck At only 60 dollars a credit hour, the tuition and fee's for Kansas residents are VERY affordable. Almost everyone here is eligible for a scholarship and many are here on some sort of academic or activities scholarship.
Tips for prospective students Ask lots of questions about scholarships, because chances are, you can get one.
Great for these types of students Theatre, Athletes, Music, Agricultural, Livestock Judging, Meat Judging, Rodeo, Horticulture.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences all of the teachers are very helpful. the campus is easy to get around. there are alot of scholarship opportunities
Tips for prospective students don't be afraid to sit down and talk with your teachers and take advantage of the student success center.
Academic Rigor each teacher varies in their policies but all of them will be willing to help you if you ask.
Dorm Life the girls dorms are large and spacious but the guys dorms are a bit lacking.
Food and Dining the cafeteria food is good somedays and bad all the rest, but there are plenty of places to grab a bite to eat within walking distance of the campus.
What to do for fun since it is a small town with little to offer the college takes matters into their own hands by having activities that are fun and cheap for all the students. and if you have a car you are within driving distance to a few bigger towns with more to offer.
Clubs and Activities there are all kinds of clubs and activities you can participate in and most of them also offer a scholarship if you are interested in it.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot All of the teachers I've had are super nice, and are willing to help no matter what. As long as you attend class on a regular basis, then everything is also really easy.
Am enjoying being here I am meeting a lot of people, but Coffeyville is pretty much the definition of Middle of Nowhere. The closest mall is an hour away. Everyone pretty much just goes to Wal-mart if you're bored or need something basic.
Bang for the buck Ummm pretty much EVERYONE here is on some type of scholarship. Even if you're not on scholarship, classes are very affordable.
Tips for prospective students Get ready for the cliques. During lunch and dinner and breakfast, EVERYONE sits together depending on what activity/scholarship they're in. That all starts at the very beginning, because the school puts students of the same activity together in the dorms.
If you want to make lots of friends, try to branch out of your specific activity/scholarship. It might be scary at 1st, but I promise, everyone (for the most part) is really nice.Great for these types of students If you're coming from a small town, you'll be used to the size and feeling of Coffeyville.
Most people who come from much larger towns (such as Lawerence, Kansas City, Wichita) are NOT going to enjoy being here. These people who are lucky enough to have a car, most often go home on the weekends, because they hate to have to stay here and have nothing to do on the weekends.
CCC is mainly a sports type of college. Mainly focused on football. But there are LOTS of different of activities to get into.Login to rate or flag the reviews
