    In three sentences

it is a small school that allows you to get to know both the professors and students on a personal level. although it is quite new, this institution has been growing rapidly, both with students and new programs. one of the perks of attending this university is that one gets to meet students from all over the world which is extremely interesting and fun.

    Tips for prospective students

it is still new, so the institution is still fixing some bugs (trying out what works and what doesn't). make sure to bring a camera, the campus is gorgeous and the view of the mountains is magnificent. one other tip, make sure to get involved as much as possible.

    Academic Rigor

classes are actually demanding, and as the years go by the curriculum is getting more and more advanced.

    Dorm Life

haven't really lived in the dorms, but i kept getting mixed reviews from the students. some liked it, others not so much. like in most colleges, they are about the size of a bedroom and one can choose whether to share with someone or not.

    Food and Dining

food is prepared everyday by cooks. the cafeteria is medium sized and has an amazing view of the mountains. they cook up food from all over the world, so be prepared to try different things.

    What to do for fun

for starters, if they do not have a club you like there is a simple solution, create your own. colorado heights tries to make sure that their students have as much freedom as they can. so if you take an interest in something, they will try to make sure it is fulfilled. last time i was there, me and a couple of other students created the first soccer team and an art club. so to finish things off. if you want to do something, chances are that you will be able to do it.

    Bang for the buck

tuition is actually really low, their tuition is actually on par with what community colleges ask for. if you are wanting to use as little money as possible but want a good education then this is the institution for you.

Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus

can't really say unusual, but colorado heights is actually on the highest point of denver.

Great for these types of students

if you want a small school, want to get to know both students and professors well, have quick access to downtown, like to see a beautiful campus and scenery and like old architecture (school looks like a cross between a castle and a church) then this school might be good match for you.

    Clubs and Activities

you have all the freedom to create and participate in clubs and activities. if they don't have what you would like to see, then it's as easy as asking for it.

    Greek Life

    none

    Campus Safety

there is security all the time all through campus. anytime they see something or someone suspicious they go and look into it. i should know, i have been suspected a couple of times (they thought i was not a student) and was asked to show my id. if it is anything bigger, then the police can be notified right away (they are about five minutes away from our campus).
