    I think Iowa Lakes is a very good school for nursing. They have amazing instructors that will help you every step of the way. They are very easy to get along with and learn from.
    Tips for prospective students

    Don't be afraid to ask for help. The instructors are more than happy to help you.

    The classes are difficult, but they aren't impossible. They are testing your knowledge.

    I don't live in the dorms, but I have heard both bad and good things about the.

    I also don't eat the food, but the Trio SSS people have some pretty good treats.
    What to do for fun

    There is a wellness center where you can swim and workout for a discount. It is a very nice facility. The town also has a lake and a movie theatre that students can get a discount for.

    What to do for fun

    most students go the the bowling alley, bars, drive-in in superior, the movie theatre, ice-fishing, regular fishing around the surrounding lakes, enjoy winter games in january and the clay county fair in september.

    homecoming, and wintergames are always fun.

    don't skip class. always try your best to prove to yourself that you can do it. be courteous of your fellow students around you.

    teachers stay and help after classes and come before classes as well. they do whatever they can to make sure the student is set for their future career. they provide the knowledge and tools to help the students become successful in whatever career they choose to go into.

    can't say much about the dorm life. i didn't live in the dorms. my friends seemed to enjoy it though.

    the food is what you would expect at any college. it's not too bad. also, it is nice to see your friends at lunch time.
    What to do for fun

    it's a small town, so there isn't a lot to do for fun, but you make the best of it. sports and working out are two things that i enjoyed doing. also, you can hang with friends and etc.

    i think it is a great college for the price. you get one on one attention unlike expensive universities. if your not in class teachers will notice and be concerned. they keep you in line usually. at universities you can just skip when you please and then sometimes you don't learn much.

    this college is great for slower learners or anybody who requires extra attention. the smaller class rooms are nice and you can get more help that way.

    soccer is a sport that i liked to play. also, there are other sports. in addition, one year i was the president of the chemistry club.

    none here.

    it is very safe and located in a small town. there is rarely(if any) crime. drugs are not as common as you would find in a city.

    there is not much to do in estherville besides hanging out with friends.
